Board members meet to discuss issues facing McGilvra, its students and teachers.  PTA members are welcome to attend.

McGilvra Auction – Garfield Community Center ; evening of March 13, 2010

Mark your calendars for the McGilvra School Auction on March 13, 2010 at Garfield Community Center .  Our auction is held bi-annually and is always an anticipated event.   This auction is sure to be an exciting evening with good food, good drinks, good friends and amazing items to bid on!

General PTA Meeting – McGilvra library; Feb. 9 6:30 – 8:30 pm

We will cover major topics related to our school; followed by a Guest Speaker.

Prospective Families: School tour dates are Feb.24, March 2, and March 8 from 9:30-11:00 am.

McGilvra is hosting an open house on Tuesday, January 26, 6:30 – 8:00 pm.  Our intended audience is families that are interested in their children attending McGilvra in the fall of 2010.  There will be a presentation in the library, followed by visits to some the classrooms.

Family Bingo Night – McGilvra Gym; Jan. 8 6:30 – 8:30 pm

After we return from winter break be sure to make room on your calendar for family BINGO NIGHT.  Your entire family is invited to this fun-filled and exciting event.  Play bingo, work on number recognition with your kids, visit with other parents and enjoy pizza, bake sale and plenty of bingo prizes!
